News recalls that Reality TV star, Maria Chike Benjamin hired the services of a herbalist to treat her leg injury that was hitherto getting worse despite treatment by a medical doctor.

The Big Brother Naija ‘Shine Ya Eye’ ex-housemate explained that her decision was prompted by a medical professional’s incorrect diagnosis.

Remember that Maria had just a few days ago undergone a leg injury that resulted in a broken knee.

Maria revealed that the dislocation of her knee has left her in severe and unbearable agony and she posted a video showing the native doctor treating her knee.

The caption of her video post reads: ”I’ve never cried so badly in my life, He straightened my broken knee.

“The doctor was wrong cause it was getting worse. So I got a local medicine man. And he put the bone back in. I wouldn’t wish the pain on my worst enemy. So more bed rest.”
