Midway through the second half, with Aston Villa leading 3-1, Ronaldo and Mings exchanged blows. The two were spotted fighting in the background after a Manchester United cross was stopped for a corner.

The two were seen embracing one other in video from behind the goal, with Ronaldo nearly putting the England defender in a headlock at one point. A few more seconds of fighting were spent until Mings finally fell to the ground.

Ronaldo of United was able to maintain his balance as two Villa players approached to separate the combatants. Anthony Taylor, the referee, had a negative opinion of the incident and issued both players a yellow card.

They grappled with each other and fell to the ground.
One football fan commented on social media that Ronaldo would have killed this Mings person in the streets, finding the altercation to be humorous. Another person remarked: “Mings has some audacity touching Ronaldo.”

“Tyrone Mings snatching Ronaldo is the only time he will touch success in his career,” a third individual remarked. Another person said: “I’d support Mings in a fight versus Ronaldo.” A fourth user wrote:

Their altercation led to a conflict between the two teams of players.
At the final horn, Mings had the last laugh as Villa defeated Erik ten Hag’s team 3-1. After only seven minutes, Leon Bailey scored with a drilled strike that sailed past David De Gea.

A few minutes later, Lucas Digne added another goal with a magnificent free kick. Just before halftime, Luke Shaw gave United hope with a deflected goal, but in the second half, United’s dreams were completely dashed.

Just after halftime, Jacob Ramsey, a young player, gave Villa a two-goal advantage. And so it remained as Unai Emery secured his first win as Villans manager, handing rival Ten Hag his first loss since the beginning of October.
