EPL: Ten Hag has been nominated for the Manager of the Month award – OFFICIAL

For the first time, Erik ten Hag has been put forward for the Premier League’s Manager-of-the-Month honor.

Our two games against Crystal Palace and Leeds United were postponed, but the Reds manager managed triumphs over Leicester City and Arsenal.

Ten Hag earned a spot on the three-man shortlist for the trophy despite the low amount of playing time.

Jadon Sancho’s winner gave us a hard-earned 1-0 victory against Leicester, and at Old Trafford, where we defeated Arsenal 3-1, Arsenal’s perfect record was abruptly ended.

Marcus Rashford scored twice to win it after Antony gave him the lead, and the striker is a candidate for the Premier League’s player of the month award for September.

The honor was last won by a United manager in January 2019, when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took home the trophy. With 27 victories overall, Sir Alex Ferguson holds the record for most monthly victories.

Antonio Conte of Tottenham and interim manager Gary O’Neil of Bournemouth are the other managers up for the honor.

With wins over Fulham (2-1) and Leicester City (6-2), Conte’s team has enjoyed one of its best starts to a Premier League season.

When Scott Parker stepped down as manager of the Cherries, O’Neil took over. He presided over a 3-2 victory at fellow newcomers Nottingham Forest before earning a point from a 1-1 draw at Newcastle United.
