Haller moved to Dortmund from Dutch club Ajax in the summer of 2022, although he never played for the team because of a testicular cancer diagnosis.

Haller disclosed on Tuesday that he had endured two surgery, four rounds of chemotherapy, and was now fully recovered.

The Bundesliga’s sixth-placed Dortmund, who have played 15 games, will open their new campaign on January 22 against Augsburg at home.

Recall that Chelsea’s performances are being adversely affected by the absence of several of its players. The Blues lost their most recent game, 2-1, against Fulham, and they are presently ranked 10th in the Premier League.

In the 58th minute of the game, their recent acquisition Joao Felix was also dismissed. Prior to being sent for a careless foul, Felix performed exceptionally well in the first half.
