Dele Odule is a Nigerian film actor and producer who was born on November 23. He was nominated for the 2014 Best of Nollywood Awards in the category of “Best Supporting Actor (Yoruba)” for his part in the film Kori Koto. He is currently the President of the Nigerian Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association.

Odule was born in 1961 in the village of Oru Ijebu, in the Ijebu North local government of Ogun State, where he had his primary and secondary education. He graduated from the Teacher’s Training College in Oru with a Grade II certificate before enrolling at the University of Ibadan in Oyo State to study Theatre Arts.

Under the tutelage of Mukaila Adebisi, Dele began acting in a theatrical group named Oloko Theatre Group. He made his acting debut in 1986 before starring in the film Ti Oluwa Ni Ile, which catapulted him into the spotlight. Since then, he has appeared in over 200 films.
