After Anthony Joshua defeats Jermaine Franklin in London on April 1, 2023, popular Nigerian performer and comedian Jigan Babaoja will issue a challenge to the British-Nigerian boxer.
Jigan, whose actual name is Abimbola Kazeem, congratulated the heavyweight champion on his victory on Instagram and said it was “normal thing” for him to do.
He then challenged Joshua, saying that he was prepared to fight the boxer in the arena.

Jigan captioned his post with a photo of Anthony Joshua, “Congratulations on your win yesterday! It’s a normal thing for me I have had more than 100 winnings within the years and still counting !
Are you now ready to take a bold step to accept my challenge ? If you win I will end my boxing career Pick any place of your choice , London , USA , Dubai or shagamu your home town
If I loose make Nigerians break my second leg I remain the world champion Tag him if you are not scared.”
Fans have since reacted to Jigan’s challenge, with some commending him for his boldness and others jokingly saying he might not survive a single punch from Joshua.
