“We came up short, but we have to focus on the positives. Look at what we’ve achieved over the last 11 years—it’s been phenomenal. I know the journey isn’t over yet. We’ve done it once, we’ve done it twice, and doing it a third time hasn’t been easy, but I believe it’s possible.”

Joshua emphasized the importance of moving forward, working hard, and improving from within, rather than being influenced by external opinions.

“It’s only been a day [since the loss], but I know I’ve got a lot left in me. Thank you for your support throughout this rollercoaster journey. Keep your seatbelts tight because I’ve got more to give to this sport, and long may it continue.”

While some fans are urging him to retire, Joshua is expected to return to the ring in 2025. Whether or not he will activate a rematch clause remains to be seen, but his passion for the sport continues to drive him forward.
