While many Nigerians continue to make fun of renowned actresses Genevieve Nnaji and Omotola Ekehinde for missing Rita Dominic’s traditional wedding, Uche Jombo has sent a powerful warning to their followers.
On Tuesday, April 19th, Nollywood stars descended on Imo State for Rita Dominic’s traditional wedding with her lover, Fidelis Anosike. Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Ekehinde, and Funke Akindele were conspicuously absent.
Because they are good friends in the movie industry, many Nigerians turned to the microblogging network Twitter to drag the Nollywood stars.

In a tweet, Uche Jombo, however, stated that people should be aware that Nollywood actors have personal relationships outside of social media.
According to Uche Jombo, Nollywood stars who are considered friends have their phone numbers, meaning Omoto Ekeinde and Genevieve Nnaji would have reached out to Rita Dominic outside social media.
She wrote: I truly wish people realize that in Nollywood peeps have personal relationships with others outside of social media. We have each other numbers. At least the ones you think are friends.
