Remembering Nigerian actress Moji Olaiya 5 years after her death (27 February 1975 – 17 May 2017). The daughter of highlife musician Victor Olaiya, Moji Olaiya began her acting career with Wale Adenuga’s production Super Story.

She starred in several Nollywood movies of Yoruba and English genres. Olaiya died on May 17, 2017, from cardiac arrest in Canada, where she had her second child exactly two months prior. She was finally laid to rest on June 7, 2017 according to Islamic rites.
