On the reality series “The Real Housewives of Lagos,” Nollywood star and brand influencer Alice Iyabo Ojo provided an exclusive look into her background and personal life. The reality show features six powerful ladies from Lagos, including the Nollywood Star.

The interview Iyabo Ojo conducted with Cool FM was included in the inaugural edition of the program. The actress admitted during the interview that she was not pleased to learn she was pregnant. She claimed that at the time, she was still a young woman trying to put her life together.

She claimed that the main reason she wasn’t thrilled about the pregnancy was that she had just been accepted to the University of Lagos to study law when she became pregnant.

According to Iyabo Ojo, she was unhappy and was considering having an abortion. She claimed that while contemplating doing away with the child to concentrate on her job, she had a change of heart.

She continued, citing the pregnancy as another factor in her hasty marriage. She claimed that although being married at the age of 21 was not at all what she had intended, it was necessary due to the pregnancy.

She said: “I actually wasn’t planning to get married. I got pregnant first. When I found out that I was pregnant, I wasn’t happy because I had passed my JAMB and gotten admission into UNILAG to study Law. Getting pregnant in between was really not I wanted. I wanted to abort it. He is so lucky because he almost went back”

The actress also discussed the unpleasant aspects of her early life. She claimed that when she was just 6 years old, a family member abused her; as a result, she was motivated to speak up and defend Princess in the molestation case involving her foster daughter.
