In a video that she shared on her TikTok profile, Jasmine Okafor described how her husband travelled over from the USA to pop the question to her.

She described how they met on TikTok and that two months later he left his own country to ask her to marry him in Gambia.

She claims that four days after they actually met, he proposed to her and she said yes.

Jasmine revealed that they wed 24 days after his engagement and are currently expecting twin girls.

In February, there were wedding bells ringing at the residence of Nigerian actor John Okafor, often known as Mr. Ibu.

The comedic actor had planned to marry his daughter off to her American-based fiancé.

In a video that went popular on social media, Jasmine Okafor said “Yes” to her partner, who she met on the video-sharing app TikTok.

Jasmine described how their paths first came along on the app two months ago while telling her love tale.

Jasmine made a point of illustrating how a real man wouldn’t waste a lady’s time through her story.

That same month, the wedding was scheduled for the couple.

“Two months ago, we met here on TikTok! He gave me a present on TikTok! Our wedding is scheduled for this month. He took his first flight from the USA to Africa. simply to wed me. You won’t waste your time on a real man.

Mr. Ibu had responded when he heard that Jasmine, her adopted daughter, had wed the man she met on Tiktok.

Ibu was unaffected by the unexpected event because he had been anticipating Jasmine’s marriage.

Jasmine is not, according to the actor, his biological daughter.

“I trained her, but she’s not my biological daughter. She addresses me as dad, and I address her as daughter. I’m cool with it (her getting married). I have prayed for them and will continue to do so. One day, a guy and a lady became acquainted. It happens gradually. But I don’t want to see tears,” he stated in a Punch interview.
