“Why? If I had the answer, I might have a higher footballing position. In football, plans often don’t unfold as expected. It was disappointing, but you can see his subsequent success in Spain and now with Aston Villa,” Tierney shared with the Irish Examiner, as reported by Football London.

“It was a formidable challenge, but when I concluded after a year and a half, by November [2019], I felt truly frustrated. The first year was positive, the second year had a mixed start, and then it came to an end. Taking charge at Arsenal after Wenger was challenging,” Emery stated.
“What was required was a process. The fans held me in high regard, and I was frustrated because I believed, ‘I can do this, but I need time.’ Yet, I always understand football. I always comprehend my role as a coach. You have to win. Convincing comes through winning.”
