1. Tonto Dikeh

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) is running Tonto Charity Dikeh as its deputy governorship candidate in Rivers State. On June 24, 2022, Mr. Tonte Ibraye, the governorship contender, revealed the Nollywood actress and philanthropist as his running mate for the state’s 2023 governorship election.

2. Banky W

In addition to being a politician, Banky Wellington is a musician. He did win the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) primary to run for the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat of Lagos State in the House of Representatives, but he is also a contender in the future 2023 elections.

3. Funke Akindele

Nigerian actress and producer, Funke Akindele, is also running for the deputy governor of Lagos State in the 2023 elections. The Nollywood star was announced as the deputy governorship candidate and running mate of the governorship candidate, Olajide Jandor under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
