Evelyn, the widow of Prophet TB Joshua, the late founder of The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), has been named the church’s new leader.
Following Joshua’s death, there have been allegations of a leadership squabble in the church.
Some of the late prophet’s disciples were ejected from the church as a result of it.
SCOAN, on the other hand, asked members and followers to pray for Evelyn as she begins her new duty in a message posted on the church’s verified Facebook page.
“Good morning,” it said. Since the beautiful home call of our dear father, servant of the Most High God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, we thank you for all your prayers and love for the ministry.
We appreciate your perseverance. To God’s glory, it is now God’s set time for The SCOAN to soldier on with the divine task under God’s guidance and Mrs. Evelyn Joshua’s human leadership.
“We ask that you join us in praying for God’s direction and divine wisdom in her new God-ordained duty. Mrs. Evelyn Joshua will speak to the thronging members of The SCOAN and Emmanuel TV Partners who have awaited this new chapter in the Great Commission for so long.”
