Nollywood actress and film producer, Mary Remmy Njoku, has discussed some of the problems that those who have worked their way to the top may experience.

In a post uploaded on her Instagram page, Remmy, the Director General of the award-winning Lagos-based production firm ROK Studios, stated that those who knew’successful people’ before their success may find it difficult to acknowledge or embrace their new status.

According to her, individuals who know those who struggled their way to the top from nothing find it difficult to believe they came from the same position because they are still there, and that all of the love and support successful people receive will most likely come from strangers.

Remmy, the Director General of the award-winning Lagos-based film house, ROK Studios, in a post shared on her Instagram page noted that people who knew ‘successful people’ before their success, might find it hard to acknowledge or accept their new status.

According to her, these people who knew those who struggled their way to the top from nothing, find it hard to accept that they came from the same place because they are still there, adding that all the love and support successful people gets will most likely come from strangers.

“When you blow people close to you find it hard to accept that you came from the same place because they are still there. Don’t be surprised if all the love and support come from strangers”.
